Since I don’t photograph weddings I don’t often get a chance to work with only adults or sweet people in love. But when my own sister got engaged over the winter I couldn’t wait to have a chance to photograph them! Mike is an awesome guy and I’m so happy to be welcoming him into our family this August.

I am just over the moon for both of them… how could I not be?

I am so glad they asked me and our sister-in-law to take some engagement shots for them. Mike is in publishing and Amy kind of adores books so it was only fitting to hit a bookstore for their shoot. So here they are, two beautiful people that I love dearly, in love.

This one is my absolute favorite.

My new packages!

I am offering one print package and three levels of digital packages.

Digital packages are fairly new on the custom photography scene, but I really want you to have the digital files. They work together to give a picture of who you are as a family, who your children are, at this particular point in your lives. I want you to be able to use them on your Christmas cards, in your digital picture frames. I want you to be able to share them with friends and family spread around the country or around the world. And I don’t want to force you to choose in a short span of time which ones and which sizes you want to have on display. When you own the images you have the freedom to print any size and at your leisure! And I also want you to have them, as keepsakes. It is important to me to have the photos of my family archived and backed up, and I want you to have that as well.

So, on to the packages!

PRINT PACKAGE

Star Light $300

~$250 print credit at VIP pricing (scroll down to see the VIP price list). I give you a credit so you can choose what size prints you want. $250 not enough? Add on additional prints above and beyond the package at the same VIP pricing.
~ web sized digital files of all images you have ordered prints of. These files are suitable for email and social networking sites (myspace, facebook, etc), and are not suitable for printing at any size. All web images are unobtrusively marked with the studio watermark for security.
~a mini version of the storyboard or collage in your gallery. Your choice of ONE.
~mini accordian-style brag book. This little 3×3 inch album holds 12 images from your gallery. Perfect for gifting to grandparents, or keeping for yourself to stick in your purse! (Artist reserves the right to choose images).

DIGITAL PACKAGES

All of my digital packages include 3 versions of each file on a CD: one in color, one in black and white, and one resized for sharing on the web (through email or on social networking sites). Digital packages also include a one time upload of the images you purchase to a high quality printing lab, so all you need to do is log on and click to order beautiful high quality prints!

Star Bright $325 $275

Includes ten (10) images and ten (10) 5×7 reference prints of those images. Additional prints at VIP pricing with the purchase of this package.

First Star $475 $425

Includes twenty five (25) images and twenty five (25) 5×7 reference prints, and one (1) collage or storyboard from your gallery, OR one (1) 11×14 print of your favorite image from the session. Additional prints at VIP pricing with the purchase of this package.

The Wish $950 $900

Includes all the images displayed in your gallery with 5×7 reference prints of each, a 4×5 or 5×5 album with 20 of your favorite images. Also includes one (1) storyboard or collage from your gallery AND a 16×20 gallery wrapped canvas of your favorite image from the session. Additional prints at VIP pricing with the purchase of this package.

I took my kids to the Meijer Gardens to see the butterflies last week. It was packed! The kids really really enjoyed it though, especially my oldest. If you haven’t had the chance to go yet, they are there through the end of April! Go check them out!

And I’m still working on that announcement! Soon, I promise!

Some of you may have noticed that I have been making a few changes here and there to the site. Just a few minor layout changes for the most part, I’m trying to make the site a little more sleek, a little more “me.” I still have a few more things I am working on, check back soon for a new header with my new logo!

I also added my gallery to this site. I revamped the gallery from my old site, added some newer photos and put it all in a spiffy new slide show. Go check it out!

And I will be announcing some new items and packages very soon! I am very excited about it, so stayed tuned!

Well, I don’t know what I expected, but I sure didn’t expect this. Four blue ribbons, one red, one white, and one honorable mention.

This is E, my girl. She is tough to get to cooperate, but if I bribe her and let her do some silly things we usually get a pretty good session. I just love the look on her face here, she’s just cracking up! And I’m trying out some new things with black and white conversions, I like how this one turned out.

Here is one of Baby L. Not technically perfect, and a noisy mess, but I just love the lighting, and the look on his face as he gets that kitty. Lucky for us Ajax (kitty) is a good sport when it comes to playing with the baby.

These are the other four photos I’m entering in the fair. At least, I plan to enter them. But I have to get frames and mattes and labels for them. And I’ve only got a few days to get it together.
