I forgot how busy life is with a newborn!

I took so many photos of J when she was just a few days old, and am just now getting a chance to process them. I have so many images that I just adore, so I wanted to share a few more. Enjoy!

It is often said amongst photographers who are also mothers that it is incredibly difficult to photograph your own newborn. There are different theories out there for why it seems to be so difficult, and I now have my own theory. Personally, I’d rather snuggle my own sweet baby than photograph her.

But I know from photographing all my wonderful clients that the images are going to be important to me some day, so without further ado, I am pleased to introduce to you my own sweet baby J. Just 5 days old.

Milestones | Grand Haven Baby Photographer

I am very please to announce the Milestones Plan for your baby’s first year!

The Milestones Plan is a series of portrait sessions spaced out over the first year (or so) of your baby’s life, with the intent of celebrating your baby’s growth! The plan includes 3 sessions, one when baby is pushing up (around 3-4 months), one when baby is sitting well (around 6 months) and the last session is when baby is standing well and/or walking (around 12 months).

The Milestones Plan also includes an 8×10 print from each session, and a 10×20 storyboard with one image from each session (custom created and printed after the final session).

Also, when you purchase the Milestones Plan you are locked in to the current pricing for the entire span of the plan.

The cost of the Milestones Plan is $300, a savings of $125. If you book the Milestones Plan at the same time as a newborn session, you will receive your newborn session for half price.

I had another chance to hang with my nephew this week. And photograph him and his gorgeous momma of course! Here are just a few. I had a hard time choosing, there are so many images that I just love. I really adore photographing new babies!

I hope to have more babies to photograph again soon, so if you know anyone in the area that is due soon, send them my way!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the most beautiful sweet six pound boy today. He happens to be my nephew, so I may be just a bit biased. He is about 7 weeks old now, spent several weeks in the NICU after being born premature. Doesn’t he totally rock?

This sweet girl is near and dear to my heart. It is my new, and my first, niece. I’m very happy that I had the chance to go out there to see her and photograph her. I enjoyed visiting with her mom as well for the day. Isn’t she the sweetest?
