I forgot how busy life is with a newborn!

I took so many photos of J when she was just a few days old, and am just now getting a chance to process them. I have so many images that I just adore, so I wanted to share a few more. Enjoy!

It is often said amongst photographers who are also mothers that it is incredibly difficult to photograph your own newborn. There are different theories out there for why it seems to be so difficult, and I now have my own theory. Personally, I’d rather snuggle my own sweet baby than photograph her.

But I know from photographing all my wonderful clients that the images are going to be important to me some day, so without further ado, I am pleased to introduce to you my own sweet baby J. Just 5 days old.
