I have been wanting to get a few shots of my two, before they become three in just a few weeks. And my nephew just recently turned 18 months, so we got together at the old barn for a combined photo shoot. It was a gorgeous morning, and while my two didn’t cooperate as well as I had hoped, I still got a few great images. My nephew, on the other hand, spent all morning hamming it up for me!

Well, I’d say my mini holiday sessions were a huge success! After rescheduling due to the rainy rainy weather we have had lately, we were blessed with a dry day, some awesome color, and even a little bit of sunshine! I met up with four awesome families. And some seriously beautiful children. I’m so excited to post up a sneak peek for all of them! I took a lot of frames, and I had a hard time choosing! Here we go…. First up is the L family. I photographed these boys last year in the middle of a blizzard (indoors). It was so fun to get them outdoors, and to see how much they have grown!
Next is the S family. I think these girls are the most cooperative I have ever photographed! And they seriously adore each other, I could tell just in the 30 minutes I was with them. I had a lot of fun with this family, just check out the shots I got!
Third was the A family. I love this family. They are just a joy to work with. They are so darn cute and they love each other so much! Just the sweetest family you will ever meet. I saw them just a few months ago down at the beach, but the boys have grown even since then!
And the fourth family is the E family. Check out the curls! I just love them! See what I mean about beautiful families? These three were so fun and up for anything!

My E turned four this spring. With the sickness we have had and the cold and gloomy weather, we didn’t get a chance to go out and do some birthday pictures until recently. But late is better than never, right?

I had the pleasure of photographing these two handsome guys recently. They just turned one and are as cute as can be! And even though they didn’t enjoy the cake as much as we thought they would, I had a good time with them anyway! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Miss E had a great time on Halloween this year! it is the first year she has really understood the whole “dress up and go get candy” thing. It was so fun! Here are a few of her right before we went out.

Photography isn’t my only love. I also have a passion for creating other things, such as this hat! Yep, I knitted it. This one is the prototype for the hats I hope to be listing on Etsy soon. I am excited to be launching this new endeavor. Keep checking the blog here for updates on my shop launch date!

I heard recently that this year is one of the best color seasons in years here in Michigan in general. We haven’t hit peak color here in West Michigan yet, but I wanted to get some fall pictures of my kiddos, so we went out to a little place I know today.
I’ll be watching this spot to see if it gets a bit more color before everything falls down!
It won’t be long now before we lose all the leaves. Be sure and schedule your fall session soon!
