Hi. I’m Michelle Matz. I’m the one behind the camera.

I’m a simple kind of girl. You will almost always find me in jeans and a tee and flip flops. Or better yet, bare feet. In warm weather anyway. I’m always freezing cold so in the winter you’ll find me in jeans, three sweatshirts and a sweater. At least.

I am obsessed with beautiful and luxurious yarn. I love it – so full of possibility, just waiting to be knit into something gorgeous. And I do that too. I like to cook. I love homemade bread. I have a fairly new passion for gardening. In fact, as I’m writing this, the ground is covered with two feet of snow, but I’m already planning what I’m going to grow this coming season.

I am fiercely loyal.

I am a lover of chocolate with a sweet tooth the size of Texas.

I hate lima beans and gray skies.

I am a mom to three sweet and beautiful littles that inspire me every day.

And I’m passionate about life and love. I love watching parents and children have a good time together. There is perfection in brothers and sisters loving on each other and the joy that radiates from our faces when we are with the ones we love.

And so I capture it. That little moment where there is no one else in the world but the ones you love. It is my little gift to you, in order to make your world a better place.
