About Michelle

My journey with photography began as a hobby, inspired by my daughter. I wanted to capture her, the REAL her, to preserve my memories of her life as a young child. The more time I spent behind the camera, the deeper my passion grew, and along with my passion grew my desire to not just take pictures, but to capture life.

In the blink of an eye I watched my daughter go from helpless newborn baby, to independent preschooler. There have been so many days where I have wished for the ability to stop time. To enjoy just one day, just one moment, for a while longer. My photography gives me that. I can stop time, if only for a moment, and cherish that moment for the rest of my life.

And so this is what I strive to give my clients. Moments. Moments of life. Real moments. I strive to capture your family the way you are. I use available, natural light whenever possible. I do my best to draw genuine smiles out of your children. I strive to capture moments of love and tenderness. Moments of childhood. Moments of family.
